Eugene OR - The Oregon Track Club and Eugene Marathon will be holding the second of three Preview Runs this Sunday, March 14th at 8am. This will be a great chance for runners to check out the new parts of the course through areas of Springfield and along Franklin Blvd.
"We had a fantastic turnout at our first Preview Run, with about 80 runners coming to take advantage of this exciting new perk provided by the Oregon Track Club and Eugene Marathon." says Nicole Teter, Eugene Marathon Volunteer Coordinator and Preview Run Director.
The Preview Runs will take place the second Sunday of March and April and are free to all participants. Eugene Marathon and OTC representatives will be on hand to coordinate the runs. The runs are non-competitive with no times or awards given. All runs will start at 8AM outside Hayward Field, on the corner of Agate and 15th. Water and Gatorade will be provided at the start, finish and one aid station along the route.
Dates: 3/14: 13 miles, previews: Franklin Blvd and Springfield 4/11: 16 miles, previews: Alton Baker Park and final 10 miles of Marathon course
